Dolittle discovers that the Queen has been poisoned by a rare plant, and the only cure is a fruit that can only be found on a mythical island called Eden. Dolittle and his animal friends embark on a dangerous journey across the sea to find the fruit and save the Queen's life.

The journey is filled with danger and excitement, including a battle with a giant dragonfly, an encounter with a ferocious tiger, and a near-death experience for Dolittle when he falls off a ship and is saved by a friendly whale.

When they finally reach Eden, they discover that the island is guarded by a massive dragon that will not allow them to take the fruit. Dolittle and his animal friends come up with a plan to distract the dragon and obtain the fruit. They succeed in their mission and return to Buckingham Palace with the cure.

However, upon returning, they discover that the Queen's illness was a ruse orchestrated by her evil advisor, Dr. Blair Mudfly, played by Michael Sheen. Mudfly wanted to obtain the fruit to sell it for a profit, and he was willing to sacrifice the Queen's life to do so.

Dolittle and his animal friends confront Mudfly and his henchmen in a thrilling battle, where they are ultimately victorious. The Queen is cured, and Dolittle is hailed as a hero.

The movie ends with Dolittle opening his gates to the public, realizing that he no longer needs to isolate himself from society. He is joined by Tommy Stubbins, who becomes his apprentice and the new caretaker of the animals.
